You can use Interac® e-Transfers to send money in minutes to anyone with an email address and an account at a participating Canadian credit union or bank. The process is simple, convenient and secure. It's a great alternative to cheques and cash.

Is it Safe?

With Interac® e-Transfers, your money never actually travels by email. Email is only used to notify the recipient and to provide them with instructions on how to deposit money. Beaubear Credit Union and your recipient's financial institution transfer funds using established and secure banking procedures.

Autodeposit and Request Money for Interac

Interac has implemented two new features to the e-Transfer® service: Autodeposit and Request Money.

Autodeposit Feature

Autodeposit is a feature within the Interac e-Transfer® service where you can register your email address(es) to have funds deposited directly into your account, without having to answer a security question. The sender is made aware before initiating a transfer that the recipient is registered for Autodeposit.

Request Money Feature

Request Money is a feature within the Interac e-Transfer® service where money can be requested from anyone in Canada within the security of your online banking or mobile banking application. Money can be requested using email or text messaging. When your request is fulfilled, you will receive notification once the funds are available in your account.
