Atlantic Credit Unions Bursary Program


Atlantic Central provides twenty-five (25) $1,000 bursaries to community college students each year. This program is delivered under the banner Atlantic Credit Unions Bursary Program on behalf of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador credit unions. The participating community colleges are: NSCC, NBCC, Holland College and the College of the North Atlantic (CNA).

Who is eligible?

The bursary program is open to all full-time students of NBCC, NSCC, Holland College or CNA, studying in any program at any campus. Students must already be enrolled to be eligible to apply.


What are the citeria?

Students must demonstrate a commitment to completing their studies, financial need and involvement in their community. Priority may be given to students who are credit union members or can demonstrate an affiliation with the credit union system and/or students who are members of traditionally underrepresented communities.

What is the value?

Each bursary is for $1,000.

The deadline varies by college between October and January, so be sure to check with your college’s awards office.
