Loyal 2 Local Challenge

As part of  Beaubear Credit Union's ongoing commitment to community well-being and supporting local suppliers and businesses, the credit union is asking the public to make a purchase at a local business and join a massive effort to promote those local businesses who have been impacted the most by COVID-19. 

To get things started and to celebrate the re-opening of many small businesses, each employee of Atlantic credit unions across the system will receive $25 to spend locally.  This will inject more than $37,000 into our local economies over this two-week period.  
 
Beaubear Credit Union is matching that amount for our staff. We’ve asked employees to share how they are spending their $50 on social media using the hashtag #Loyal2LocalChallenge. 

The challenge will start on June 15 to June 28, 2020 and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this has had on our communities and our staff. 

So, starting soon, our staff will be sharing their shopping adventures at local businesses!!  Will they treat themselves at their favourite local restaurant?! Buy a “gift to self or someone else” at their favourite local retailer? Support their local bakery or local produce store? The options are endless!
